德國鋼琴家羅倫茲·凱爾胡伯（Lorenz Kellhuber）以其深厚的爵士歷史底蘊與獨特的即興語彙，成為當代歐洲最受矚目的爵士音樂家之一。此次他攜手兩位來自美國的頂尖樂手——低音提琴家喬·桑德斯（Joe Sanders）與鼓手傑西·辛普森（Jesse Simpson）組成凱爾胡伯《標準體驗》三重奏，以當代語境重新詮釋《Great American Songbook》中膾炙人口的經典曲目，在自由與秩序的張力中展現即興的無窮魅力。他們的演出既保有爵士傳統的精神，又處處可見細膩且大膽的創新，為熟悉的旋律注入嶄新生命，是一次錯過可惜的爵士現場！
Reimagining Jazz Standards: A Dialogue Between Tradition and Innovation.
German pianist Lorenz Kellhuber, known for his deep roots in jazz history and distinctive improvisational language, is one of Europe’s most captivating jazz artists today.
For this special performance, Kellhuber brings together two exceptional American musicians—bassist Joe Sanders and drummer Jesse Simpson—to form the 「Lorenz Kellhuber Standard Experience」Trio.
Together, they revisit timeless classics from《the Great American Songbook》, reinterpreting them through a modern lens. Their music strikes a powerful balance between tradition and freedom, fusing intricate jazz heritage with bold improvisational energy. The result: a fresh and vibrant take on familiar melodies, full of spontaneity, depth, and nuance.

▌Lorenz Kellhuber｜Pianist / Composer / Improviser
德國鋼琴家 Lorenz Kellhuber 是當代少見能跨越古典與爵士、即興與作曲領域的創作者。出身音樂世家，5 歲起接受古典鋼琴訓練，16 歲即進入柏林爵士學院，師承 Kurt Rosenwinkel、Fred Hersch 等名師，並於 20 歲獲得爵士學士學位，是全球最年輕的音樂系畢業生之一。
他擅長從巴洛克到當代的音樂語彙中汲取靈感，融合古典結構與自由即興語言，創造出獨樹一格的「當代室內即興音樂」。曾受邀於漢堡易北愛樂廳、蒙特勒爵士節、古根漢美術館等國際舞台演出，並與 Charles Lloyd、Joe Sanders、Obed Calvaire 等音樂家合作。至今發行九張專輯，並榮獲 Montreux 爵士鋼琴大賽首獎。
現任德勒斯登卡爾瑪麗亞音樂大學教授，並於歐洲各地舉辦工作坊與大師班。他的音樂在思辨與自由之間游走，被譽為「橫跨古典與爵士語言的罕見旅人」
Born into a musical family, Lorenz Kellhuber began classical piano training at age five. At sixteen, he was admitted to the Jazz Institute Berlin, studying under Kurt Rosenwinkel and Fred Hersch. At age 20, he earned his jazz degree—becoming one of the world’s youngest music graduates.
Kellhuber blends classical structure with free improvisation to create his signature style of *contemporary chamber improvisation*. He has performed at major venues such as Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Guggenheim Museum, and collaborated with Charles Lloyd, Joe Sanders, and Obed Calvaire.
Currently a professor at the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music in Dresden, he also gives masterclasses across Europe. His music has been praised as a thoughtful, free-flowing journey between classical and jazz.

▌Joe Sanders｜Double Bass
美國低音提琴家 Joe Sanders 出生於密爾瓦基，曾獲 Christian McBride 指導，並於 Thelonious Monk Institute 深造，是當代最受矚目的爵士貝斯演奏家之一。Joshua Redman 曾讚譽他為「同代中最偉大的音樂家之一，也是當今最具影響力的貝斯手」。
Sanders 曾與 Herbie Hancock、Wayne Shorter、Roy Hargrove、Charles Lloyd 等爵士巨匠同台演出，並與 Gerald Clayton Trio、Joshua Redman Quartet 等團體巡演於歐美與亞洲各大舞台。2011 年發行首張個人專輯《Introducing Joe Sanders》，展現其兼具張力與靈性的音樂語彙。
他以敏銳的聆聽力與深厚的節奏根基，成為當代最受推崇的合奏夥伴與作曲家之一。
Joe Sanders, born in Milwaukee, studied with Christian McBride and trained at the Thelonious Monk Institute. Widely acclaimed as one of the most influential jazz bassists of his generation, he has been praised by Joshua Redman as “one of the greatest musicians of our time.”
Sanders has performed with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Roy Hargrove, and Charles Lloyd, and toured globally with the Gerald Clayton Trio and Joshua Redman Quartet. His debut album *Introducing Joe Sanders* (2011) demonstrated his blend of power and spiritual depth.

▌Jesse Simpson｜Drums
Jesse Simpson 出生於美國加州 Graton，成長於舊金山灣區，年輕時便受教於傳奇鼓手 Donald “Duck” Bailey，展開職業演奏生涯。2007 年前往紐約就讀曼哈頓音樂學院，並於 2010 年畢業。其後活躍於紐約與歐洲爵士場景，足跡遍佈美國與歐洲各地。
Jesse 曾與 Marc Copland、Kevin Hays、Joe Lovano、John Abercrombie、Chris Cheek 等爵士名家合作，亦曾為喜劇演員 Fred Armisen 與 Janeane Garafalo 擔任音樂伴奏。他的演奏融合鼓與鋼琴的多重視角，節奏靈動、敏銳細膩，具備即興對話的高度張力。
2022 年起旅居捷克，持續於歐洲巡演與創作，展現其橫跨多元音樂語彙的即興能量。
Jesse Simpson was born in Graton, California, and began his professional career studying under legendary drummer Donald “Duck” Bailey. He graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in 2010 and has since performed extensively across the U.S. and Europe.
He has worked with Marc Copland, Kevin Hays, Joe Lovano, John Abercrombie, and Chris Cheek, and provided musical accompaniment for comedians Fred Armisen and Janeane Garofalo. His approach fuses rhythm and texture from both drums and piano.
Now based in the Czech Republic, Simpson continues to tour and compose across Europe.
