Knot Lucky Sheepshead Tournament — Official RulesTournament Dates: February 1–February 28, 2026
Entry: Open to all anglers
Divisions: Boat • Kayak • Shore

🎣 Format
• Tournament runs the entire month of February
• Each angler/team may declare any two fishing days during the tournament window
• You must declare your fishing day by 6:00 PM the night before
• You may undeclare a fishing day up until 5:00 AM the morning of
• Lines in at daybreak
• Fish must be caught on hook and line with live or natural bait only
• Two heaviest fish from each declared day will be weighed
• Your heaviest fish from each of your two declared days will be combined for your total
Example: Biggest fish Day One + Biggest fish Day Two = Final Weight

• First Place: $5,000 guaranteed
• Additional prizes and categories to be announced

🐟 Weigh-In
• Fish must be whole and intact (gutted is ok, no mutilation)
• Weigh-in locations:
• Savannah Boat House
• Fort McAllister Marina
• It is the captain’s responsibility to know the posted closing times of the selected weigh-in location on your declared day
• Late fish will not be weighed — no exceptions

• No boundaries. Must make weight in by the close of business at designated marina.
• All state and federal fishing laws apply

⚓️ Vessels and Safety
• Boats, kayaks, shore, and pier anglers allowed
• Captains are responsible for the safety of their vessel and crew at all times
• All GA DNR laws and applicable federal laws must be followed
• Any violation results in disqualification

📸 Verification
• Anglers must take a photo of each fish on the day of catch with the tournament card visible prior to weigh-in
• Tournament card will be provided upon registration

🚫 Disqualification
You will be disqualified for:
• Fishing without declaring
• Weighing fish not caught during your declared day
• Breaking state or federal fisheries laws
• Cheating or unethical conduct
