We want everyone to play — so whether you’ve got a full team, a partner, or you’re flying solo, just sign up and we’ll make it so you can join in the fun!
📢 Sign-Up Info:
You can register as a Team, Pair, or Individual. There are 10 spots for full teams, 8 spots for pairs (16 players total), and 2 spots for individuals (8 players total). These numbers may adjust based on interest, with a total cap of 80 players.
If you sign up as a pair or individual, you’ll be randomly grouped to form teams. Adjustments will be made to keep things fair (for example, avoiding all one-gender teams).
▶ Team Sign-Ups must include at least one girl, since you control your own roster.
▶ Pair Sign-Ups can be any combination and will be randomly paired with another duo, with adjustments made to keep teams balanced.
▶ Individual Sign-Ups will be grouped randomly, with adjustments made to ensure fairness and variety.
For all randomly created teams, I’ll do my best to ensure an equal mix of genders, but this cannot be guaranteed — some teams may end up with four players of the same gender.
When signing up, please indicate your category (Team, Pair, or Individual).
⚠️If you switch categories after registering, you’ll move to the end of the list for your new group to keep sign-ups fair.
✅ All sign-ups and roster changes must be made in the designated post. Sign-ups or edits outside that post will not count!

Schedules will be posted online before the start of the event.
If part of your team isn’t present at the start, you may pick up a sub with the opposing team's approval. However, delays will result in shorter games and the other team receiving points.
No subs are allowed during bracket play (unless an injury occurs).
⏳ Expected End Time: 5:00 PM (if you make it to the finals!)

If you are signing up as a full team, you can send payment after roster is confirmed.
If you are signing up as a pair or individual, please wait until you are placed on a team and contacted with further instruction on how payment should be sent.
🟢 Registration Information:

🎖️ Single Elimination Tournament – Varying formats to meet time constraints.
Seeding will be based on Wins/Loses Followed By Point Differential
🔊 All players must report their point differentials after every match, win or lose.
🏆 Prizes: Cash Payout to 1st and 2nd of Upper, and to 1st of lower.
Any additional prizes and payouts will be determined by the number of signups.
🚫 No outside alcohol allowed in Woodlands Backyard.
🟦 Rules & Expectations
• Players may stay in set positions on the court, but must rotate servers after a side-out.
• No restrictions on who you can serve.
• Directional blocking is allowed.
• Blocks don’t count as a touch.
• Open hand receive is allowed if it is received and released without error or if it is a hard-driven attack.
• Setting over is allowed if clean and perpendicular to the body. Accidental set-overs result in a point for the other team.
• No doubles, lifting, carrying, or open-hand tips.
• No foot faults or touching the net.
• Players can cross into the other team's space if it doesn’t impede play. (pursuit )
• If there’s a dispute → Replay the point
