Craft Alive Newcastle is a vibrant event taking place at the Newcastle Jockey Club, offering a unique opportunity for attendees to learn from world-class specialists through interactive classes. This event spans over three days, featuring a variety of engaging sessions specifically scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Whether you are a crafting enthusiast or a professional looking to enhance your skills, there are numerous classes available, each designed to provide hands-on experience and knowledge from experts in the field.
CraftAlive is a hands-on event. A chance to learn from world-class specialists with interactive classes. Class schedules are released 6 weeks prior. It is recommended that you book ahead to secure your spot.
Each event features both local and national experts with the latest craft supplies, kits, and equipment.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Departing Port Bus around 08:00, we make our way through Port, Tacking Point, Bonny Hills, Laurieton & Kew. Taree Craft Centre & Knitty Gritty Yarn & More, here we come! Morning tea is a Devonshire Tea in the Craft Centre. Lunch today is at the Nabiac Hotel. One more shop stop is at Eckersley’s Art & Craft. Time to check in at the Macquarie 4 Star. Dinner tonight is onsite at the adjoining Club Macquarie.
Day 2: Checking out at 09:00, we head over to the Showgrounds for Craft Alive 2026! You will have until 14:30 there before we commence our journey home. A comfort stop @ Taree South Service Centre before drop-offs commencing around 17:30.
