🚨 As we wrap up the dome season, we’re bringing back one of our most popular formats… but with a twist 👀
This time around, the girls will be doing all the hitting 💥 while the guys handle the passing and setting 🏐. To keep things fresh, you’ll **play with a new pair each round**, so stay ready 🔄🔥
Come sign up, hang out with friends, grab some drinks, and help us give the dome the send-off it deserves. Let’s close it out the right way before we head into sunshine, warm weather, and even better vibes ☀️
📍 Event Location:
Woodlands Backyard – 668 Grandview Ave, Columbus, OH
⏰ Check-In Time/Warmup: 5:30 PM
🏐 Balls Up: 6:00 PM (or after morning tournament)
Schedules will be posted online before start of event.
If your partner isn’t present at the start, you may pick up a sub with the opposing team's approval. However, delays will result in less games, shorter games, and/or points being awarded to the other team.
No subs are allowed during bracket play (unless an injury occurs).

🟢 Registration Information:
40 Pairs - Sign up as a pair (Girl/Guy) to be placed on teams of 4 for each round of pool play
Guaranteed 4 Rounds of Pool Play (1-25 Straight)
Format may be adjusted based on the number of sign-ups.
🎖️ Single Elimination Tournament -
There will be a single-elimination tournament after pool play that every player will make. The points played to and the match duration time will be adjusted accordingly for each round of play.
🔊 All players must report their point differentials after every match, win or lose.
🏆 Prizes: Cash Payout to 1st and 2nd of Upper, and 1st of Lower
Any additional prizes and payouts will be determined by the number of signups.
🚫 No outside alcohol allowed in Woodlands Backyard.

Most drinks are 3 dollars, some exclusions may apply.

🔥 Serving
• No restrictions on who you serve or serve type

• Directional blocking is allowed
• Blocks do NOT count as a touch
• Guys can ONLY block guys
• Guys CANNOT block girls
• Girls can block ANY attack

💥 Attacking
**Guys (Inside 10 ft):**
• Limited to controlled attacks only
• If above the net when extended:
• May break plane
• MUST have clear upward trajectory
• Legal: rolls, bumps, knuckles
• ❌ No hard-driven attacks
**Guys (General):**
• Can attack freely behind 10 ft line
• Can break plane when setting
• If ball goes over → loss of point
**Girls:**
• No attacking restrictions anywhere

• Open-hand receive allowed (must be clean)
• Setting over allowed (must be perpendicular)
• ❌ Accidental set-overs = loss of point
• Doubles called tight (BB level: 1–1.5 spins)
