The Friends of Maclay Gardens will be co-hosting a group ride in celebration of National Bike Month (5/23)! Our mission for this trail day will be to clear debris and trim branches and vines off of the single track trails. BONUS: We get to enjoy the results of our efforts for the rest of the season SCORE!Trimming and debris removal: A crew is needed to trim back any errant branches or encroaching vines and foliage.
Shortcuts: A crew is needed to block and obscure any shortcuts that have a nasty habit of popping up
Other: If anyone has any specific projects they think will further our goal of making the trail more awesome, leave a note, and we will triage and address what we can after the rest is complete.
TMBA will provide coffee and doughnuts during our pre-work meeting. We will also provide cold beverages and snacks for after.
🛠️Come dressed to get dirty.
🛠️Tick repellant and sunscreen is HIGHLY recommended!
🛠️Bring water and snacks you can carry (e.g. water backpack)
