For over 30 years, as a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, KCNMRR has been run completely by volunteers! That's no small feat! Each volunteer brings a skill set that adds to our success year after year. Some volunteers get certified to operate our trains, others punch tickets & help guests find their seats with a smile. While others bring invaluable trades like mechanical, construction, design & landscaping skills or business attributes like accounting, website design, photography and event planning. No matter what they bring, their willingness is what makes us run. If you've ever considered joining our team, we'd love to invite you to one of our 4 open houses in March. Meet some of our team members, tell us a little about yourself, tour the shop, learn all about the rich history of KCNMRR and most of all HAVE FUN! We look forward to meeting you. 😊 Feel free to come any time between 1pm and 3pm on Sunday March 8th, stay as long as your able. Opportunities are available for single individuals, couples and families! Get your friends together and check us out!
