Important instructions from the Depot staff:
💢 sketching on pads or a small setup that doesn’t impede other public or passengers’ free use of the area
💢 area isn’t blocked off or cordoned off any way,
So..
💢Bring your favorite sketching supplies, a clipboard and your face 😁
💢If you want to bring your fav sketch stool, that could come in handy as a strategically placed ‘table’.
💢We won’t have table space but the seating area is large enough for everyone who wants to attend 👍
💢Bring your own snacks & beverages (there are vending machines available)

🟠🟠What to expect🟠🟠
We will meet at the seating area (far left, furthest back lobby area from the entrances)
🔹@noon- M'sktchrs MEET’N'GREET. Gather & say hi to all the sketchers, pair up or have a group
🔹@3pm- M'sktchrs MEET'N'SHARE. All are welcome. We’re all on personal art journeys & respect that of each other. Everyone is encouraging of each other here, so please feel comfortable to share with our art show and tell.
🔹Parking: the easiest parking ramp is on Sibly street just a few feet up from Kellogg. There is also free street parking on Sunday.
🔹Transit: Green Line train has stop directly in front of Depot
The Portrait Party is an event where we practice our people skills in a safe, non-judgemental space.
It's a chance for MetroSketchers to get to know each other a little better and draw in a relaxed setting. Socialize over snacks with your old and new sketching buddies.
I can't wait to sketch with you all again!

(Those MetroSketchers far away and those that can't attend might find some artist friends of theirs in their own location and portraitize them.)

General info: There is no teacher and no assignment. These are self-instructed, self-guided gatherings.
We draw, sketch and paint with any materials we feel like hauling. [There will be a note on the specific event if art supplies are restricted.. for example 'only dry materials' has happened a few times. Most times bringing a camping chair is fine but check each month’s specifics].
