🌲 About the Festival
After the success of Hex & Harvest Market, Open Circle Events returns with a new kind of winter celebration — the Frost & Flame Festival, a three-day gathering honoring the Yule season through community, creativity, and symbolic flame.
This festival celebrates the rebirth of light, generosity, and connection — a place where witches, makers, and spiritual seekers of all paths can come together to share in both giving and gratitude.
Throughout the weekend, we’ll collect donations through The Giving Flame, benefiting local nonprofits supporting families in need this holiday season.
Because generosity isn’t tied to faith — it’s the magick that lives in every open heart.

🕯️ Festival Schedule
✨ Friday, December 19 — The Return of Light
🕑 Market Hours: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
🕯️ Ceremony: 5:30 PM – “Return of Light” Ritual (Outdoors)
Our opening night nachtmarkt glows with warmth, twinkling lights, and luminous décor as vendors fill the hall with candlelight and enchantment.
At dusk, we’ll gather outdoors for the Return of Light Ceremony — a shared moment to welcome the light back into the world.
Each vendor and attendee is invited to bring a battery-operated candle, lantern, or light to hold during the ceremony. Together, we’ll raise our lights as symbols of hope, community, and the sun’s return.
Vendors will then carry their lights indoors to illuminate their displays, symbolically bringing the light back into the marketplace.
Battery-operated candles or small lanterns will be available at the event for a modest fee; we encourage participants to arrive early if they wish to purchase one.

🔥 Saturday, December 20 — Day of Flame
🕚 Market Hours: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🕯️ Ritual Time: To Be Announced
Saturday is the heart of the festival, filled with fellowship, creativity, and magickal offerings from our vendors and community.
A special ritual designed and led by Panther’s Gate Lil Witch will take place this day — a transformative experience centered on the spiritual flame that burns within us all.

🌙 Sunday, December 21 — The Giving Flame & Yule Blessing
🕛 Market Hours: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
🕯️ Ceremony: 6:00 PM – “The Giving Flame & Yule Blessing” Ritual
We close the festival with a symbolic act of giving, gratitude, and renewal.
Throughout the festival, guests and vendors are invited to add paper “flames” or ribbons to our Blessing Log — each representing a wish, offering, or blessing for the new year.
During the closing Giving Flame & Yule Blessing Ceremony, we’ll gather around the completed log — now adorned with the intentions of our entire community — and bless it as a collective symbol of renewal and shared magick.
The physical flames will not be burned, but their essence will be released through words, song, and gratitude as we send our wishes into the returning light.

🎁 Admission & The Giving Flame
Admission is by donation to The Giving Flame, benefitting local nonprofits supporting families in need during the winter season.
Donations accepted beginning November 1st at Panther’s Gate Lil Witch and continuing throughout the festival weekend.
What qualifies as a donation:
🕯️ Non-perishable food items
🧤 Warm winter gear (gloves, hats, scarves, socks, coats in good condition)
🧼 Personal care and hygiene products
💸 Monetary donations (given directly to our nonprofit partners)
Every item and every dollar makes a difference — because magick isn’t only found in spells, but in compassion.
