Brothers and sisters of the shield wall, the time has come to embrace the call of the wild!Join your fellow warriors for a mighty trek from the base of Truleigh Hill to the great ridge of Devil’s Dyke, where we shall witness the first light of the day like true Norsemen. Then make our way back for a morning coffee. This is a Bring a Friend Day, so gather your kin—be they warriors, shieldmaidens, or curious souls—and march forth!

🔥 A steady march through the hills – no need for haste, only purpose.
🔥 The winds of the wild and a glorious sunrise, if the gods grant us favour.
🔥 A band of like-minded warriors, forging bonds stronger than steel.
🛡 Provisions & Gear:
Sturdy boots to tread the land with purpose.
Cloaks or layers to shield from the elements.
A flask of water, mead (if you dare!), or a hot drink for warmth.
A comrade to march beside you—or come alone and find your fellowship.
🚗 Steeds & Parking: Ample space for your iron chariots at The Park opposite in the layby(South downs fodder box area) or further up the road by the roundabout.
The path will be steady and sure, no battle required—just the spirit of adventure. This is a free gathering, an offering of connection, strength, and movement.
