✅ Meet the Newly Appointed Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board Members
OAN has invited all nine newly appointed DDA Board members to attend, providing residents with a unique opportunity to meet them, ask questions, and learn about their vision for strengthening the Original Aurora business district and supporting economic revitalization along East Colfax.
✅ Arts, Entertainment & Cultural Development Discussion
Deputy City Manager Laura Perry has been invited to discuss community-generated ideas that use arts, entertainment, and cultural development as catalysts for economic growth, neighborhood identity, and long-term revitalization.
✅ Community Development Corporation (CDC) Update
Wendy Talley of the Colorado Health Foundation has been invited to provide an update on the timeline for establishing a Community Development Corporation (CDC), along with the upcoming community listening campaign designed to ensure residents, businesses, and stakeholders have a meaningful voice in shaping its future.
✅ Public Safety & Community Solutions for 1521 Dayton Street
Aurora Police Department PAR Officer Crump and members of his team will discuss public safety concerns surrounding 1521 Dayton Street following the closure of the Dayton Street Day Labor Center. They will also seek community input on positive, community-driven strategies to reactivate the property in ways that improve neighborhood safety and create lasting benefits for the surrounding community.
