Join Black Hawk Baggers and Waterloo’s Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 27th for a day filled with fun, friends, food and drinks at the Bring Your Own Partner Bags Tournament!
The location for this year's tournament will be at Anton’s Garden located at 518 Sycamore Street, Waterloo, IA 50703. ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL ALLOWED.
Only one Pro allowed per team. “Once a pro, always a pro.” If you have questions about this policy, ask ahead of time. Don’t wait until the day of the tournament, because we will definitely be enforcing this policy.
Pre-register on Scoreholio by downloading the free app on your smartphone, or sign up on the day of the tournament. If you have questions, please ask on the Facebook event page. Check in starts at 11:00 AM, and bags fly at 12:00 Noon! Cost is $40 per team, payable at check-in. Players are encouraged to bring their own bags, just no corn-filled bags please. If you don’t have bags, we will have some available on site that day for you to borrow!
We will begin with 4 rounds of Round Robin play, where you will play against a different team each round. We will track team stats over the course of those 4 games. Then, based on your stats, we will place each team in either the Upper or the Lower bracket. If we have over 35 teams, we will split into 3 brackets. We will then play in a double elimination bracket. Every team is guaranteed at least 6 games!
100% of entry fees go toward the prize pool. The number of places paid out in each bracket will be based on number of entrants. The more entries, the more places paid out!
