Entertainment will begin at 4pm, with live stage hosted by BBC Northamptonshire fun fair rides, big screen showcase, facepainting, stalls and catering village. Kicking off proceedings, live band Funk Odyssey get the party well and truly started, followed by the Live Performers who will wow the crowds with their daring Fire and Pyro Show.
The Northamptonshire Gunpowder Plot heritage film will play on big screens, telling the tale of how history’s most infamous attempt to bring down the Houses of Parliament has links to the county and resulted in the eponymous Guy Fawkes Night; produced by Northampton Film Festival.
Plus bringing this special year of commemorations for the 350th Anniversary of The Great Fire of Northampton to a close, 2025’s fireworks event pays tribute to this significant milestone in Northampton’s history. Step back in time to 1675 with a free family adventure in the town centre and learn more about Northampton’s heritage with The Explore Northampton App Virtual Trail; produced by AR Media Productions Ltd 🔥
The evening will be topped off with a spectacular fireworks finale at 6pm! 💥
