Ready to try something new or get back into the studio? Join us this June at The Potter’s House Art Studio for our 4-week pottery course, designed for beginners and returning students alike.
This hands-on course will guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals of pottery, including wheel throwing, hand building, and glazing. Whether you’ve never touched clay before or want to build on your skills, this class meets you where you are.
🗓 Class Schedule
Choose one class per week:
• Tuesdays: June 9, 16, 23, 30 | 6:00–8:00 PM
• Wednesdays: June 10, 17, 24, July 1 | 6:00–8:00 PM
👉 Attend one class per week for 4 weeks
👉 Select your preferred day at registration (flexible based on availability)
🏺 What You’ll Learn
Week 1 – Wheel Basics
Learn clay prep, centering, and beginner throwing
Week 2 – Wheel Forms
Create bowls, cups, and classic shapes
Week 3 – Hand Building
Explore slab, coil, and pinch techniques
Week 4 – Glazing
Finish your pieces with color and design
🎨 What’s Included:
• All tools and studio glazes
• Step-by-step instruction
• Flexible weekly scheduling
• Open studio practice time included
• Small group setting for more personalized guidance
🏺 Firing (Pay-As-You-Go)
• $5 per finished piece
• Paid during Week 3
• Covers both bisque and glaze firing
• Only pieces you choose to keep will be fired
Your finished pottery will be ready for pickup approximately 3–4 weeks after the course.

• Ages 14+
• No experience needed
• Wear comfortable clothes that can get messy
• Only 6 wheels per night – limited spots available
💰 Pricing
Early Bird: $145 (through May 22nd)
Regular Price: $175
📌 Refund & Cancellation Policy:
• 5+ days before class: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
• 3–5 days before: 50% refund or full studio credit
• Within 48 hours: No refunds or credits
• Same-day cancellations may be transferred one time with a $25 transfer fee (subject to availability)
• Missed classes are non-refundable but may be made up if space allows
