✨ What to Expect
Curious about West Coast Swing (WCS)? Whether you’re brand new to dancing or have some experience, this beginner-friendly workshop and practice session will get you moving, smiling, and connecting on the dance floor.
Coleen Man is one of the UK and Europe’s top-ranked WCS dancers — a WSDC Champion-level competitor, international teacher, and judge. Through Swing Academy UK in central London, she’s helped grow the UK WCS scene since 2017.
With a background in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz and as a Royal Academy of Dance–registered Ballet teacher, Coleen brings a perfect mix of technique, musicality, and flair to her classes.
In this focused two-hour workshop, you’ll refine your fundamentals and learn a fun, stylish mini-routine to take straight onto the floor during the one-hour social practice that follows.

🕐 1:15 – 1:30 pm – Doors open
💃 1:30 – 3.30 pm – Variations on the basics & mini-routine
🎶 3:30 – 4:30 pm – Practice session & optional 1-to-1 tuition
By the end, you’ll feel confident dancing the five core WCS patterns plus a stylish mini-routine — ready to groove the night away!
