Experience the joy of Shabbat through music and community at New Synagogue’s Tot Shabbat! Led by Dr. Emily, this beloved experience is designed for children, and their grown-ups, blending song, movement, and tradition in a way that makes Shabbat feel accessible and meaningful for all ages.
🔹 We begin in the Flamingo Room, where families come together for lively, interactive Shabbat songs and movement.
🔹 We then ascend to the sanctuary, to where our youngest participants are welcomed with intergenerational blessing from Rabbi Barak Bar-Chaim that connect us to the wider synagogue family.
🔹 Shabbat-friendly toys are available in the shul, ensuring that even the littlest members can engage in a way that feels natural and comfortable.
🔹 We conclude with an elegant Kiddush lunch, where families share a meal with challah, grape juice, and warm conversation in a welcoming community space.
