Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren! Am Freitag, den 27. März 2026, lädt der Frannz Club ab 22:00 Uhr zur Tanzveranstaltung „Friday I’m in Love“ ein.
Der Abend steht ganz im Zeichen von Post-Punk, Dark 80s und Coldwave und widmet sich einem sorgfältig kuratierten Repertoire aus Dark Wave, Post-Punk und ausgewählten Underground-Classics.
Für die musikalische Gestaltung sorgen Björn (Königin der Nacht! / Dämonenball) und Wilco (A Strange Night / Dämonenball), zwei feste Größen der Berliner Clubszene, die seit vielen Jahren für eine klare musikalische Linie und ihre enge Verbundenheit mit der dunklen Szene bekannt sind.
Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der diskografischen Entwicklung von The Sisters of Mercy.
Die musikalische Werkschau zeichnet die stilistische Bandbreite der Band nach – von frühen 12"-Veröffentlichungen wie The Damage Done, Body Electric, Anaconda und Alice über die intensive Dichte der The Reptile House E.P. bis hin zu prägenden Klassikern wie Temple of Love, Walk Away und Alice.
Berücksichtigt wird das gesamte Spektrum ihres Schaffens: die eindringliche Atmosphäre von First and Last and Always, die monumentale Klangästhetik von Floodland sowie die druckvolle Dynamik von Vision Thing, das Andrew Eldritch selbst als „High-Energy-Rock“ definierte.

On Friday, March 27, 2026, Frannz Club opens its doors at 10:00 PM for “Friday I’m in Love,” a club night dedicated to Post-Punk, Dark 80s and Coldwave. The evening features a carefully curated selection of Dark Wave, Post-Punk and essential underground classics.
The soundtrack for the night will be provided by Björn (Königin der Nacht! / Dämonenball) and Wilco (A Strange Night / Dämonenball), two established figures of Berlin’s club scene, known for their distinctive musical direction and their strong connection to the dark alternative community.
With a keen sense of atmosphere and dynamics, they guide the dancefloor through a night of driving rhythms, cold intensity and timeless scene anthems.
A special focus of the evening is dedicated to the discographic evolution of The Sisters of Mercy. This tribute traces the band’s stylistic range – from early 12" releases such as The Damage Done, Body Electric, Anaconda and Alice, through the dense intensity of The Reptile House E.P., to defining classics like Temple of Love and Walk Away.
The full spectrum of their work will be represented: the haunting atmosphere of First and Last and Always, the monumental sound aesthetics of Floodland, and the powerful drive of Vision Thing, described by Andrew Eldritch himself as “High-Energy Rock.”
