On Wednesday 1st July, we're joining friends old and new at the Radisson Blu, Letterkenny from 8pm to celebrate the life of Dermot Donohue (DD).
Dermot was a brilliant blues musician, an award-winning photographer, and one of the founding members of the Letterkenny Blues and Roots Festival. He was a friend to so many in #Letterkenny and beyond, and we lost him in January 2023 after a brave battle with Motor Neurone Disease. His absence is still deeply felt.
This special evening will be a celebration of his life and legacy — and will also kick off this year's Letterkenny Blues and Roots Festival.
No ticket needed. Just come along and make a donation on the door — supporting two wonderful causes: the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Donegal Hospice.
