Embrace the holiday spirit with Fleet Feet Sacramento's annual FREE Holiday Classic 5K Fun Run! This festive event is our gift to the running community and supports a wonderful cause.Event Details:
🗓️ Date: Sunday, December 15, 2024
🕘 Time: Registration opens at 8:00 AM; Run starts at 9:00 AM
📍 Location: Sutter's Landing Park, 28th & A Street (North of Railroad Tracks), Sacramento, CA
Highlights:
🎁 Toy Drive: Please bring an unwrapped toy to support the Salvation Army's annual toy drive. Let's fill their truck with joy this season!
☕ Post-Run Treats: Warm up after the run with complimentary coffee or hot chocolate from the Salvation Army cantina.
👕 T-Shirts: Select from a variety of t-shirts from past events—available while supplies last.
🏃 Course: Enjoy a scenic 5K out-and-back route along the American River. A timing clock will be at the finish for you to record your own time.
Additional Information:
Registration: No pre-registration required. Simply sign a waiver on race morning.
Cost: Free! Just bring an unwrapped toy for donation.
Weather: Rain or shine, the run will proceed. Dress in your festive winter running attire!
Parking: Ample free parking is available at or near Sutter's Landing Park. Follow the signs upon arrival.
Note: For everyone's safety, please leave strollers and dogs at home.
