Join us for a cozy fall evening on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, from 6:45 – 9 PM at Cold Garden (Inglewood)! We’re teaming up with Kind Fork Faction for a fun night of pumpkin carving and community building.
Please confirm attendance and pay the applicable deposit/pizza no later than October 26, 2025.
✨ Event Details:
Bring Your Own Pumpkin 🎃 and carve it into a jack-o’-lantern. I will not be bringing extra pumpkins and so please organize bringing one to Cold Garden. There will be some small prizes for various pumpkin categories.
Tablecloths, bags, and some carving utensils will be provided. Feel free to bring your own supplies if you wish. You may also wish to bring a container for the pumpkin seeds if you would like to keep and roast them at home.
Vegan pizza 🍕 from Friend’s will be organized by Kind Fork Faction. A $10 fee (to be paid in advance to me) is required so I can confirm numbers with the admin for the order. If you are not ordering pizza, please let me know. The payment of $10 is considered a charge for the cost and is only paid if you would like pizza.
Please note that buying drink(s) at Cold Garden is required since we’ll be using their space. There are non-alcoholic options available to purchase. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions about that requirement.
‼️ Space & Deposit Information:
Because of the venue’s reservation requirements, the YYC Vegan Social Group is limited to 11 participants for this event (12 people total, including myself). Kind Fork Faction will have its own limit, so please only register with one group. To keep our booking, please arrive no later than 7:00 PM at the latest, as the venue will only hold the table for a short time.
To reserve your spot:
A $5 deposit (via e-transfer) is required in addition to the pizza cost.
Once you RSVP, I’ll message you directly with payment details.
Your spot is only confirmed once the deposit is received. The first 11 paid deposits will secure a spot, and a waitlist will be started after that.
Deposits will be returned in cash at the event if you attend.
📣 Cancellations / No-Shows:
Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel after 6 pm on October 26th or don’t show up.
Typically, I don't collect a deposit for events that I host; however, this policy is in place only because of the venue’s pre-booking requirements, which means I must finalize numbers by this date.
If a waitlist is started, I’ll contact people on the waitlist in the order they signed up if space opens up. To ensure fairness, a $5 deposit will still be required to confirm your attendance once you are taken off the waitlist.
As a general reminder, participants are expected to respect the space and make every effort to keep the mess to a minimum. There will be other patrons at the venue at the same time; therefore, respect not only for the business but also for others in the venue at the time of our event is critical.
Cold Garden is a very inclusive and amazing place. While they only serve drinks and light snacks, it is important to note that some of their drinks contain lactose. Ensure to check their menu and ask the server before purchasing a drink to ensure it does not contain any animal products.
