🤓 What you will learn:
*The roots of Funk culture and its social and cultural impact
*Social/Soul dance: Campbellocking, grooves, social party steps, Rhythms
*How to express your own personality and improvise with rhythms into the funk music
"Lets respect the culture by understanding its history and carrying it forward responsibly."
💫 About Dida Dee:
Dida is a multidisciplinary creative whose works are mainly set in art direction and humanitarian field. Dida comes from Slovakia and now lives in Athens. She lived in different countries and had learnt from one of the best educators which had likely played a pivotal role in shaping her skills and passion. She studied urban styles in Åsa folkhögskola in Sweden and cultural studies in Slovakia. She is a member and project coordinator of HipHop4Hope in Athens and this journey led her to connect dance, music, art with the humanitarian sector of our society. Dida's cultural background and the fusion of influences from different places likely contribute to the uniqueness of her artistic expression, vision and creativity. With years of teaching experience, she brings a sensitive, culturally aware, and people-centered approach to education, recognizing artistic expression as a powerful channel for connection, healing, and growth. Dida believes deeply in the power of community and the importance of building together. For her, connection is created through shared experiences, collective effort, and mutual support.

Δημιουργήσαμε τους Hoppers με σκοπό να διαδώσουμε τους Αφροαμερικανικούς Jazz χορούς – Authentic Jazz Dance και Lindy Hop – στην Ελλάδα και διεθνώς. Με σεβασμό προς την πολιτιστική κληρονομιά και τους δημιουργούς αυτών των χορών, φιλοδοξούμε να διαμορφώσουμε έναν χώρο που προάγει την Jazz κουλτούρα, εστιάζοντας στη ρυθμικότητα, τον αυτοσχεδιασμό, την ελευθερία έκφρασης, την ομαδικότητα και τη συμπερίληψη.
