🎃 We're hosting a special Fall themed Fun & Friends Jr. Meetup for October 🍂
Join us Sunday, October 12th at the Special Olympics Gym to socialize, play, and build a community for families who have a child between the ages of 0-12, with a disability, rare disease or who are on the spectrum in the Sioux Falls area. This is a FREE event, no registration needed! Siblings welcome, guardian required.
We will be there from 2:30-4:30pm and you are welcome to come and go as it works for your family during those hours. Snacks and refreshments will be available, and are made possible through the generous donations of our refreshment sponsor Resolve Legal.
The Special Olympics gym is a great space for kiddos of all ages and abilities to play while giving parents a chance to chat. There will be a curated selection of games and equipment to play with, including mats with toys for babies and non-mobile kiddos, basketball for any big kids, older siblings or adults who want to shoot some hoops, and activities at tables. We will have some festive fall crafts and activities as well!
The gym is the perfect place to test out any new mobility equipment, since it's spacious and flat, and you are welcome to bring your own items. We do ask that ride-on toys be left at home.
