This month, The Community Omaha welcomes Shawn Garza, Executive Director of Project Pink'd, for a meeting that will speak directly to the strength found within community.
Project Pink'd provides tools, resources, and a strong network to support breast cancer survivors in Nebraska and Western Iowa — from the moment of diagnosis through every stage that follows. Their work centers on helping survivors build a thriving, purposeful future, with the understanding that as each survivor grows stronger, families and communities grow stronger too.
Shawn will share more about Project Pink'd's mission and the experiences of the survivors they serve, offering our group a meaningful look at what community support can look like when it matters most.
The meeting follows The Community's signature format: social time and optional lunch from 12:00–12:30 p.m., followed by the formal meeting from 12:30–1:30 p.m., with networking continuing after.
The Community is a group of women in business who are committed to growing themselves, doing good business, supporting one another with kindness, and showing up with integrity.
