🌴⚾ CAROLINA SHAG FEATURE • MARGARITAVILLE NIGHT ⚾🌴Charlotte Performance Dance Company is officially looking for Carolina Shag dancers to be FEATURED during the Charlotte Line Dance Showcase at Truist Field for Margaritaville Night!
📍 Truist Field | Charlotte Knights Stadium
📅 Performance Date: August 29, 2026
📅 Required Stadium Rehearsal: August 17, 2026🎟 Game ticket required for participation
💲 Rehearsal fee: $25 per person
✨ ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE: Selected Carolina Shag dancers will join the line dance showcase experience and be featured throughout portions of the performance during one of the Charlotte Knights themed game nights!
This is a fun opportunity to:
• Perform at a professional baseball stadium• Represent the Carolina Shag community
• Meet and connect with other dancers
• Be featured in live performance content and promotional videos
• Be part of a high energy entertainment experience
⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
• Couples are being accepted at this time
• Solo dancers may still apply to be added to a potential partner connection list
• Space is LIMITED
• Performance locations may include:
• The field
• Dugout areas
• Concourse performance areas
All performance locations create an exciting atmosphere for both dancers and fans throughout the stadium experience!
✨ PERFORMANCE PREPARATION:Detailed step breakdowns and performance structure will be provided after acceptance into the showcase. Outside practice will be the responsibility of participants to arrive prepared for rehearsal and performance day.
Optional Carolina Shag classes/workshops will also be offered leading up to the performance depending on interest levels. These classes are not required, but are highly encouraged for anyone wanting extra preparation and practice time.
I have been teaching Carolina Shag since 2014 and excited to help create a fun, professional, and memorable experience for everyone involved!
