Join us on Thursday, November 21 from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM for a community-wide planting event in Esquimalt-Gorge Park???
This free event is open to all, no planting experience necessary. You can RSVP through our website link. GWAS will provide all of the planting equipment. Please wear boots and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes.
Mini-Forests are created using a dense, biodiverse grid patten that suits urban restoration sites with smaller footprints. GWAS will be restoring a Mini-Forest site just outside the Gorge Waterway Nature House, in the Indigenous Nature Interpreter Stewardship site and Sherwood Forest. We can't wait to share the joy of planting with you!
