As part of the ⭐ Courtyard Constellations ⭐ series, we're thrilled for this special opportunity to experience these musicians up close and personal on August 19th!
Danny Musengo is known for his role as principal songwriter in the band Gone Gone Beyond, penning conscious classics such as Coast, Little Moon, Coyote, and Things Are Changing, to name a few.
After nearly a decade of touring, Musengo settled in Colorado last year to be by his mother, who had recently suffered a stroke. In that time, he released his first solo single, Be Open, a popular collaborative track with Dirtwire, The Human Experience, and Kinney that they recently performed live at a sold out Red Rocks show.
For his first solo show in Colorado, Musengo wants to tell the stories behind his songs, taking the audience along on his wild ride, from a small town in Iowa to his years as a street artist and bar room poet in NYC and the incredible mental health journey that finally led him to music.
Cherry picking from his most popular tracks as well as some unreleased current creations, Musengo will be taking the songs down to their bones, performing many of them acoustic for the first time.
💛 We're especially excited to welcome Kinney, joining us from Los Angeles. Kinney is a songwriter and artist whose music is rooted in storytelling, atmosphere, and human connection. Drawing from a background in dance and musical theater, she blends expressive vocals with beautifully crafted soundscapes that settle somewhere deep within.
🎙️Throughout the evening, Kinney will share a special solo set before joining Danny Musengo for several collaborations, making her an integral part of the night's musical journey.
David Satori will also be taking the stage for a solo performance. This night just keeps getting better.
Expect an intimate, emotional, hopeful and humorous evening under the stars. Singing along is strongly encouraged. It’s an event not to be missed. 💫
