Weβre counting down to Mills Observatoryβs winter season reopening on Wednesday 1st October, but we just couldnβt wait that long!Join us for a special one-off evening event under the stars: Summer Stars at Mills Observatory. Weather permitting, youβll have the chance to view Saturn, Neptune (the furthest planet from the Sun!), and the stunning Summer Triangle β made up of the bright stars Vega, Altair, and Deneb.
π Optimal viewing expected after 10pm, but weβll start as soon as conditions allow.
βοΈ If the skies donβt cooperate, donβt worry β weβll host fascinating talks in our lecture room, where our amateur astronomer will guide you through the wonders of the summer night sky.
