Mondays are for renewal. In this twisting vinyasa we turn, spiral, and squeeze — wringing out what weighs us down to create space for clarity and breath.
Twists awaken the fire of transformation. They wring through the belly, heart, and ribs, clearing away heaviness and making room for new energy to rise. With each turn of the spine, we massage the inner organs and spark circulation which detoxes out system and promotes digestion— but more than that, we practice letting go.
The mid-body — solar plexus , heart, belly — is where we often carry stress, anxiety, and worry. Twisting through these areas invite untangling what’s knotted inside.
In this class, we call on Kali, the fierce mother, as our guide. Each twist becomes an offering of what no longer serves us. We will ignite Kapalabhati, the cleansing fire breath, to assist us in this work. This is practice as ritual: fierce, purifying, and ultimately freeing. Step in heavy, leave reborn. 🌀
