🌈 Pride Sunday at Salem First 🌈

What does it mean to belong fully in the family of God?
This Pride Sunday, we’ll gather for a worship service centered on faith, belonging, honesty, and the kind of love that makes room for our whole selves.
Through scripture, storytelling, and reflection, we’ll explore what it means to move beyond simple welcome into true belonging, naming both the harm many have experienced in the church and the hope of a faith that can be reclaimed.
This year’s service will include a panel-style message, opportunities for participation, and space to reflect together on who we are becoming as a community.
We believe queer faith is not a side note to the story of God. Queer people are essential to the life of the church, and we all have something to learn from one another about courage, authenticity, and following Christ.
Whether you’ve been in church your whole life, have been hurt by church, are questioning, deconstructing, or simply looking for a place to belong, you are welcome here.
