🇺🇸 Independence Day at Wekiva Island, BurgerFi & Bruster’s
Celebrate Independence Day with a full day of outdoor fun, food, and socializing!
We’ll begin the day at Wekiva Island, where we can play volleyball, swim, relax by the water, and meet new people. Afterward, we’ll head to BurgerFi for dinner and finish the evening with ice cream at Bruster’s.
Schedule
8:00 AM–6:00 PM — Wekiva Island
Meet us near the volleyball court. We’ll play volleyball, swim, relax, and socialize throughout the day.
Around 6:00 PM — Dinner at BurgerFi
Around 7:15 PM — Ice cream at Bruster’s
The event officially ends around 8:00 PM.
Open Attendance
This is an open, flexible event, so you are welcome to join us for the entire day or meet us during any part of the event.
Please note that Wekiva Island can become very crowded by 11:00 AM or noon, especially on a holiday. Arriving early is strongly recommended. If the property reaches capacity, later entry may not be possible.
Those who cannot attend the Wekiva Island portion are still welcome to join us for dinner at BurgerFi or ice cream at Bruster’s.
What to Bring
Bring anything you may need for a comfortable outdoor day, such as:
* Swimwear and a towel
* Sunscreen
* Water
* Comfortable clothes
* Volleyball gear, if you have any
* A change of clothes for dinner
Each attendee is responsible for their own admission, food, drinks, transportation, and personal belongings.
You do not need to be an experienced volleyball player. This is a casual social event focused on having fun, meeting people, and enjoying Independence Day together.
