This event is designed for students and creatives exploring postgraduate study in art, design, architecture, communication, humanities, and interdisciplinary practice.
Discover how the Royal College of Art supports artists, designers, and researchers within an international and collaborative environment, while gaining insight into life and study in London.
You are invited to meet (Head of Programme - Art & Design Graduate Diploma) and (Student Recruitment Manager - Southeast Asia) in Hong Kong for an in-person conversation about the RCA experience.
Whether you are preparing your application, refining your portfolio, simply curious about postgraduate study at the RCA, or getting ready to begin your studies at the RCA, this event offers an opportunity to connect with the RCA community and learn more about creative life at the world’s leading university for art and design.

You don't have to specialise in any discipline to attend this event: we welcome guests planning to apply to all subject areas.
Due to the postgraduate nature of RCA study, all attendees must be over 18.

About the hosts
(Head of Programme - Art & Design Graduate Diploma)
Gary has over 25 years’ experience in the higher education sector, with a specialist focus in international and transnational education.
Gary trained initially as a stone carver at Hereford Cathedral.
A graduate of Fine Art Sculpture from the University for the Creative Arts (1989) and the Royal College of Art (MA Sculpture, 1993; MPhil Sculpture and Animation, 2003). He has and continues to exhibit across the UK, Europe, US and China, from Tate St Ives to The Central Academy of Fine Arts Beijing. He was Henry Moore Foundation Sculpture Fellow at Falmouth College of Arts (1994–96) and awarded a bursary from the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 1996. His recent solo exhibition, Trace Engines, presented new drawings and prints at AIP Gallery Redtory Art Zone, Guangzhou (2015–16), Rochester Art Gallery, Kent (2016–17) and The Brewery Tap, Folkestone Triennial (2017).
