Bedford, it’s time to get dramatic!
Join us for Bedford’s first ever Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever – a joyful, inclusive mass dance inspired by Kate Bush’s iconic Wuthering Heights music video and the much-loved Wuthering events that take place around the UK and beyond every summer
Expect flowing red dresses, dramatic arm waving, laughter, music and a wonderful sense of community as we come together to create one of the most unforgettable moments of Bedford River Festival weekend.
The aim is simple:
❤️ Wear red
❤️ Learn a few moves
❤️ Join in
❤️ Have fun
No dance experience is required.
This is not a performance and there are NO auditions, NO judges and NO expectations. Whether you're a seasoned dancer, have two left feet, are eight or eighty, coming on your own or with friends, everyone is welcome.
We particularly encourage:
✨ Families
✨ Friends
✨ Community groups
✨ Schools and colleges
✨ Dance and theatre lovers
✨ Absolute beginners
✨ People who simply fancy doing something a little bit different
And yes...
🐾 Dogs in red dresses are wholeheartedly encouraged too
We’ll be sharing dance tutorials, rehearsal opportunities, costume inspiration and event updates here in the lead up to the big day.
