An Autumn Sound Ceremony
Join us for an evening of immersive performance - singing, mantra, sound healing, and meditation - as Sonic Devas leads an immersive ceremonial experience of community, atmosphere, and deep listening at The Maya in Long Beach.
The evening opens with a wellness marketplace: local artisans, makers, and holistic practitioners, along with tea and conversation. Take your time here before the waterfront space shifts into ceremony.
Sonic Devas is an ensemble of women musicians and sound artists who build the performance in real time. The set draws on layered vocals, mantra and devotional song, singing bowls, flutes, percussion, drones, and live electronics - long, unhurried passages that shift gradually rather than building to anything. Candlelight and low LED lighting set the room; there's no stage to watch, just the music moving around you.

Part concert, part meditation session, it's built for people who want an evening that asks them to do less, not more.
