About the Workshop

Looking for a relaxing and creative weekend activity? Join us for a Sand Painting Workshop at Isle of Coffee in Glasgow on 14 December!

Whether you‘re an absolute beginner or an art enthusiast, this 2-hour guided session will show you how to create beautiful sand artwork by using colourful sand and pre-cut adhesive art cards.

Every participant will receive:

🌈 Five sand colors (5ml each)

🖼️ 10cm × 10cm sand art card

🪛Carving tool (for removing adhesive layers)

☕ One hot drink of your choice

This workshop is designed to be calming, beginner-friendly, and perfect for anyone looking to try a unique art activity in a cozy café environment.

👥 Who Can Join?

Minimum age: 12 years old

Anyone aged 12–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times

This workshop welcomes adults, families, and young creatives who want to try something fun and hands-on.

⚠ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

Because the workshop involves using a small carving knife pen to peel off sticker layers:

For minors (12–17 years old):

-A parent/guardian must remain on site during the entire workshop

-The carving process must be done by the parent/guardian (not the child)

For all participants:

-The carving tool is sharp — please use it carefully to avoid cuts

-The instructor will provide guidance and supervision, but each participant is responsible for their own safety during tool use
