{HU} Magyarországot hét olyan ország veszi körül, amelyek gazdag zenei szcénával rendelkeznek, mégis kevés figyelemre méltó zenekart, lépett fel nálunk, pedig csak néhány órányira vannak tőlünk. Az Inverted Spectrum Records eltökélt szándéka, hogy változtasson ezen az állapoton. A negyedszázados szerbiai Ab Re, a jazz-folk-rock-punk-cirkusz-színházi veteránokból álló együttes most először érkezik Budapestre, hogy egy csodálatos zenei estet adjon a Gólyában, amelyen a szintén különleges helyi zenei jelenség, az Újzenekar is fellép.
{EN} Hungary is surrounded by seven countries with rich musical scenes, yet many of the remarkable bands who are active there have never been invited to play here, even though they are just a few hours away. Inverted Spectrum Records is determined to change this state of affairs. Ab Re, a quarter-century old ensemble from Serbia made up of jazz-folk-rock-punk-circus-theatre veterans, is coming to Budapest for the first time for an evening of wonderful music in Gólya which will also feature the equally unique local musical phenomenon Újzenekar.

{HU} A kritikusok által „teátrális jazz balkáni népi motívumokkal” és „ellenzéki szerb jazz”-ként jellemzett Ab Re gazdag és bonyolult zenéje műfaji kötöttségek nélkül születik, és egyaránt tartalmaz jazz, balkáni folk és progresszív rock elemeket, és egy jó adag punk attitűdöt. Annak ellenére, hogy a zenekar fennállásának első 20 évében nem jelentetett meg hivatalos albumot, jelentős rajongótábort alakítottak ki, illetve kiemelt szerbiai és külföldi fesztiválokon is játszottak. Az Ab Re nemcsak egy zenei projekt, hanem a művészeti együttműködések platformja is: a zenekar színházi előadások zenéjét is komponálta már, és dolgozott cirkusz- és kabaréművészekkel, szobrászokkal valamint rendezőkkel. A zenekar videoklipjeit számos film- és animációs fesztiválon vetítették világszerte Portugáliától Koreáig. Második albumuk „ABER” címmel tavaly jelent meg a Krokodil Studio gondozásában.
{EN} Described by critics as "theatrical jazz with Balkan folk motifs" and "Serbian jazz in opposition", the rich and intricate music of Ab Re is created without attachment to any genre and equally features elements of jazz, Balkan folk, and progressive rock, with a good dose of punk attitude. Despite not publishing any official albums for the first 20 years of their existence, the band managed to develop a following and to play in major festivals in Serbia and abroad. Ab Re is not only a musical project, but a platform for artistic cooperation: the band has composed music for theatre and collaborated with circus and cabaret artists, sculptors, and directors. The band's videos have been screened in numerous film and animation festivals around the world from Portugal to Korea. Their second album “ABER” was released last year under the label Krokodil Studio.

{HU} Az Újzenekar az előző évezred dalközpontú, alternatív zenei hagyományait eleveníti fel, sajátosan egyedi tálalásban. Poétikus tánczene ez, ahol szó esik minden fontos dologról, ami életünkben adódhat, a pálpápatéri ingatlan helyzettől a melotonin jótékony hatásán keresztül a háttérhatalmakig, Lucifertől az 5G-ig... A zenei szövet leginkább a krautrock, a sanzon, a grunge, és a pszichedelikus folk egyedülálló keverékeként fogalmazható meg, klasszikus zenei és jazz hatásokkal. A zenekar hagyományai közé tartozik a rejtőzködő életmód, így a csillagok különleges együttállása szükségeltetik ahhoz, hogy élőben elcsípjük a társulatot, akik szüntelenül és észrevétlenül szüretelik gyümölcseiket, amelyet hamarosan egy új album formájában tárnak a kedves közönség elé.
{EN} Újzenekar (The New Ensemble) revives the song-centred, alternative music traditions of the previous millennium, with their own unique twist. It's poetic dance music about all the important things that can happen in our lives, from the real estate situation on Pál Pápa Square to the beneficial effects of melatonin, the forces behind the scenes, Lucifer, and 5G... The musical fabric can be best described as a unique blend of krautrock, chanson, grunge and psychedelic folk, with classical music and jazz influences. The band's tradition is one of secrecy, so it takes a special combination of stars to catch the band live, who are incessantly and unobtrusively harvesting the fruits of their labour, which will soon be presented to the public in the form of a new album.
