Toronto artist Julie Agro is bringing her newest body of work to Loohoo. The Bright Side features a vibrant mix of drawings, paintings, and cyanotype prints, exploring light, texture, and fresh perspectives.

The artwork will be on display at Loohoo until the end of the year. Come by to see the art and take home a piece of High Park — we’re open Wednesday to Sunday, 11 AM–6 PM!

About the Artist

is a landscape artist who is known for creating bright, whimsical paintings which simultaneously feel otherworldly and familiar. Her work explores themes surrounding memory, wayfinding, and how we relate to the natural world. Her paintings often have a dreamlike quality and she is able to blend vibrant, expressive brushstrokes with more detailed, meandering line work.

About the Space

is a cute concept gift shop in Parkdale, Toronto, which opened in April 2024. Styled like a cozy, colourful studio apartment, the shop blends art, retail, and community with a playful vibe. From the cutest products to fun workshops, and silly-themed markets, Loohoo is all about creating space to explore, connect, and discover something unexpected — and this is our very first art show! So fun!
