✨ Join us for a fun and unforgettable experience at the "Jazz Sheroes" workshop! ✨Step into the world of trailblazing women jazz composers in this interactive session, led by two amazing contemporary jazz artists: the fabulous New York flutist Jamie Baum and the internationally loved Indiana/Vienna-based pianist Monika Herzig. Along with their talented ensemble, Monika Herzig’s Sheroes, they've wowed audiences around the world—from the vibrant Jazzmandu Festival in Kathmandu to the iconic Detroit Jazz Festival, and jazz clubs everywhere!
In this workshop, they’ll take you on a musical journey, discussing and performing works by some of the most influential women in jazz. Plus, they’ll share fascinating insights into the history, culture, and stories behind their compositions.
Their latest album, All In Good Time, produced by the legendary Lenny White, topped the JazzWeek Radio charts for a fabulous 20 weeks! Now, here’s your chance to connect with these incredible artists as they celebrate the powerful legacy of women composers in jazz.
