A japán pszichedelikus-elektronikus rockduó, a heavenphetamine négy hónapos európai turnéra indult, amelynek keretében egyik kedven városukba, Budapestre is betérnek, hogy újra találkozhassanak rajongóikkal.
Japanese psychedelic-electronic rock duo heavenphetamine has embarked on a four-month European tour, where they will stop by in Budapest too, one of their favorite cities to play, to gift us their great music one again.

{HU} A heavenphetamine egy japán duó, melyet Hiroki Oda (billentyűs/ének) és Sara Oda (dob/ének) alkot. Sajátos stílusuk a krautrock, a pszichedélia, a szintetizátoros zene, a postpunk, az indie rock és az acid house elemeinek keveréke, finom japán ízzel. Akusztikus dobokat szinkronizálnak szintetizátorok és loop pedálok segítségével létrehozott elektronikus szekvenciákkal, metronóm használata nélkül, ami elektro-hatású kompozíciókat eredményez, ezek pedig még mindig megőrzik organikus és punkos éleket.
A páros 2021-ben hagyta el szülővárosát, Tokiót, és azóta rengeteget turnézik Európában, több mint száz koncertet adtak a legkülönfélébb helyszíneken, a squat-októl kezdve az olyan nagy fesztiválokig, mint a Tallinn Music Week és a francia Trans Musical Festival, valamint rendszeresen fellépnek a háború sújtotta ukrajnai városokban, és helyi zenészekkel készítenek felvételeket. Első nagylemezük „The Sun on a Winter Day” címmel augusztusban jelent meg az ukrán Kontrabass kiadó gondozásában.

{EN} heavenphetamine is a duo from Japan composed of Hiroki Oda (keyboard/vocals) and Sara Oda (drums/vocals). Their idiosyncratic style is a blend of elements from krautrock, psychedelia, synthesizer music, postpunk, indie rock, and acid house, with a subtle Japanese flavor. They synchronize acoustic drums with electronic sequences created through synthesizers and loop pedals, without the use of a metronome, which results in electro-influenced compositions that still retain an organic and punky edge.
The couple left their hometown Tokyo in 2021 and have been touring Europe extensively ever since, playing more than a hundred shows in all kinds of venues, from squats to major festivals such as Tallinn Music Week and France's Trans Musical Festival, and performing regularly in the war-torn cities of Ukraine and recording with local musicians. Their first full-length album 'The Sun on a Winter Day' was published on the Ukrainian label Kontrabass in August.
