Introduction to the Art of Playing and Mastering the Gong
A two-day introduction to the world of gongs. You will:
• Learn history, purpose, and variations of the gong
• Practice essential playing techniques
• Explore overtone instruments
• Receive a booklet with theory & exercises
• Learn self-care tools & yogic practices to strengthen your nervous system
• Play multiple instruments and get guidance for choosing your own gong
Highlight: A powerful Gong Bath on Saturday.
Counts as Module 1 of the Gong Master Course (Northern Light Yoga Academy certification).
📘 Module 2
Immersion into Gong Playing for Relaxation, Meditation & Healing
Deepen your sensitivity, flow, and meditative presence through:
• Practical exploration
• Group and individual feedback
• Intensive yoga and meditation
• Developing intuitive awareness in playing
Highlight: A deep Gong Meditation to clear the subconscious.
📘 Module 3
Gong Yoga & the Gong as a Healing Tool
Advanced techniques focusing on intention-based playing, therapy, and voice work.
Highlight: A Sound Healing Session on Saturday.

Self-Mastery & Group Gong Ceremony
Integration of all skills learned:
• Facilitating gong baths and sound journeys
