About this Event
✂️ Creative Craft Club: A Flexible 3-Workshop Course
Explore beautiful handmade crafts, learn new skills, and rediscover the joy of making.
Join us at Liberation Art Gallery for a creative crafting course designed for anyone who loves making with their hands or has always wanted to give it a try.
This three-workshop course introduces you to a selection of expressive craft techniques in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Across the programme, you'll explore silk painting, mosaic making, and expressive printmaking, with plenty of opportunities to experiment, build confidence, and create beautiful handmade pieces to take home.
Whether you're a seasoned crafter, a complete beginner, or someone looking to reignite a creative hobby, this course is designed to be accessible, enjoyable, and pressure-free.
✨ Included workshops
🎨 Silk Painting
Discover the calming process of painting onto silk as you experiment with colour, flow, and pattern to create a vibrant and unique artwork.
🧩 Mosaic Making
Slow down and enjoy the satisfying process of arranging shapes, colours, and textures to create your own mosaic piece.
🖨️ Expressive Printmaking
Explore playful printmaking techniques and intuitive mark-making to create layered, dynamic compositions.
🌿 Creativity for Wellbeing
Crafting offers an opportunity to pause, focus, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something by hand. These sessions are designed to encourage relaxation, build confidence, and help you reconnect with your creativity in a supportive environment.
There's no pressure to be artistic or produce perfect results. Instead, we'll celebrate experimentation, curiosity, and the joy of creating.
👥 Learn alongside a supportive community
Many of our participants come independently, making this a wonderful opportunity to meet other like-minded people while developing new skills together.
Our friendly facilitators will guide you through each process while encouraging you to explore your own creative style.
📅 Flexible Course Scheduling
At Liberation Art Gallery, we believe creativity should fit around your life, not the other way around.
Unlike traditional courses, you don't need to commit to attending on the same day and time every week. Once participants have booked, we'll coordinate the sessions around the group's availability wherever possible.
We recognise that work schedules, caring responsibilities, health needs, and busy lives can make it difficult to commit to a fixed timetable, and our flexible approach is one of the ways we make creativity more accessible to everyone.
