Raiders, sailors, musicians, and night-watch wanderers — assemble.
The Pink Full Moon peaks on April 2, and by Saturday night (April 4) the Moon will still be a bright ~90% waning gibbous, rising into the evening sky and casting that silver moonwake across the water. 🌙✨
Meanwhile, the tides will be doing their slow ocean breathing… with low tide around 10:00 PM on Saturday night. As the water falls, the sand islands will emerge — perfect for an evening gathering, music, and campfire stories before the flood tide returns.
So this raid isn’t about competition or scoreboards…
It’s about music, moonlight, and the rhythm of the tide.

Arrive by boat while the tide is still friendly.
Set up on the sand island as the sun sets.
As the waning gibbous Moon rises, we start the Sand Island Jam.
Play together.
Laugh loudly.
Make music under the southern sky.
And when the instruments finally quiet down…
We switch on the boombox 📻
and DJ our favourite tracks around the campfire 🔥🎶
