This brand new event at Vitalist Institute invites you to enjoy a cup of ceremonial cacao that has been hand-crafted by Vitalist lead teacher, Ryan DeLuca. Ryan will guide you through a gentle breath and embodiment practice to quiet your mind and relax your nervous system. The session will move into a guided meditation of your heart space, inviting you to connect deeper to yourself and your life.
What is Cacao?
Cacao is pure chocolate, and is medicine for our mind, body, and soul.
Cacao is a natural heart opener, and used intentionally in meditation it becomes a tool to deeper into the experience
Cacao is a superfood that increases blood flow throughout our body, lowers blood pressure, and helps tissue cells receive nutrients to heal.
The cacao beans are purchased from Atucún Chocolatería, located in Comayagua, Honduras. Atucún works directly with various cacao producers located throughout Honduras, and the cacao trees are grown sustainably in polyculture. The beans are then roasted and refined into cacao by Ryan DeLuca in Grand Rapids, MI.
This heart-centered class will recur on the third Friday of each month.
