This Week's Workout
📈 Progressive Long Run
The goal isn't to start fast.
✔️ Easy aerobic first half
✔️ Gradually increase effort
✔️ Finish near Marathon Pace effort
Learn how to finish strong while building endurance for race day.
Long Run Options
🏃 80–150 minutes
🏃 9–18 miles
Choose the distance that fits your current fitness and training history.
Classic Minneapolis Lakes Route
We'll run one of the Twin Cities' favorite long-run routes featuring:
🌊 Lake Harriet
🌊 Bde Maka Ska
🌊 Lake of the Isles
The route also previews portions of both the Twin Cities Marathon and City of Lakes Half Marathon courses.
