Just as tapas provide a diverse offering of tastes, this program presents a rich variety of narratives, capturing the essence of Spain through cinematic bites of drama, humor, and passion. Each film serves as a distinct “tapa,” offering a unique glimpse into Spanish, tradition, and imagination.

Monica is a normal woman with a normal life in any place in any of these modern times. However, one day, for an unimportant detail that could have been resolved like any other previous disagreement, she kills her husband. She thus discovers crime as a substitute for anxiolytics, liberation from all hypocritical moralism, and, why not?

In Almeria Province in Spain, there is a sea of plastic sheeting, creating the largest collection of greenhouses in the world. The invernaderos (as called in Spanish) cover upwards of 150 square miles and are visible by the naked eye from space. A large proportion of Europe's vegetables and fruit is intensively farmed here. There is a huge amount of plastic waste created each year (estimated at more than 30000 tons). Staffed by an army of African migrants working in extreme heat conditions in the summer months.
