Roy Davis Jr. has certainly left an indelible mark on House Music with his contributions spanning over 3 decades. From the deep & soulful seminal collaborations with Peven Everett, helping catalyze an entire sound (UK Garage), to the bangin’ acid tracks of Phuture; his discography & DJ sets embody the spirit & evolution of Chicago House Music. With a litany of classics and remixes....the global impact on dance music has been undeniable.Roy is understandably very selective how often, and where he travels, since being diagnosed with MS eight years ago …. so, we consider ourselves very fortunate to finally have him back in Portland.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see one of the all-time greats in an intimate venue playing on a proper sound system (and yes, the room & sound have evolved ; ) )
