Event Overview:

Lieutenant Michael Fumiatti currently serves as the New Haven Police Department’s Fair Haven District Manager. He has worked alongside medical and mental health professionals in a variety of environments, including hospitals and residential facilities. He is the NHPD’s Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) coordinator and the Officer in Charge of the NHPD’s Hostage and Crisis Negotiation Team (HCNT). He is Co-Director of the Connecticut Alliance to Benefit Law Enforcement (CABLE). He is a certified police instructor and has taught and lectured regionally on topics related to mental health, officer wellness, crisis intervention, communication, and community policing.
