About this Event

Join us for an empowering event celebrating LGBTQ+ experiences through film and interactive cartography!

'Past, Present, and Proud’ is a 30-minute documentary captures stories that showcase different experiences of being LGBTQ+ across generations, and the hope which they all share for the next generation.

‘Queering the Map’ is a workshop that will invite participants to put together their own map of Edinburgh, by putting their lives and experiences on the page. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with maps as more than just navigational tools – but also as platforms for storytelling, memory, and reclaiming space.

This event is part of the National Library of Scotland’s Pride Month programme.
