Memories form the fabric of our lives, rich in details, colours, and scents that encompass the depth and breadth of our personal history. In the boundless space of our memory, we find a treasure trove of recollections that shape, inspire, and console us. Each memory is framed here, unique and splendid. A dreamer, a boundary pusher… An artist by day, a DJ by night… In everything he does, Davey invites people to splash into their inner pool of emotions and memories. Emotional experiences and collective memories make us stronger as individuals and as communities. They trigger our (collective) minds and make our lives much richer.
The importance of stories and storytelling in stimulating human interaction, social cohesion and diversity has been a central theme in Davey’s work since he started his artistic career, almost two decades ago. As a multi-disciplinary artist, he uses spray paint on canvas, digital techniques on paper, ceramics and upcycled sculptures to express himself.
Davey lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium.
