We invite you to celebrate the Myanmar New Year, Thingyan, with us at the Swan Italian Sports Club in Middle Swan, Perth on April 9th at 10am. This traditional festival, which includes water spraying, dancing, and traditional food and music, is a great opportunity for members of the Myanmar community and their friends and families to come together. In addition to traditional activities, we will also be featuring cultural dance and music performances from different ethnic groups. If you or someone you know would like to showcase their cultural dance or music, please let us know by 5 Feb 2023. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate diversity and bring different communities together. We encourage you to wear traditional attire and participate in the traditional activities. We are also looking for volunteers to help make this event a success. Volunteer opportunities include helping with set up and clean up, assisting with traditional activities, providing musical or dance performances, helping with food preparation, controlling the crowd, and facilitating the event program. If you have any other skills you would like to offer, please let us know. We appreciate your support and look forward to working with you to make this event a success.
