#️⃣1️⃣ 𓆰 За осма поредна година, празнуваме нов брой на СПИСАНИЕ ЗА ТАНЦ, като този път с него се вглеждаме във „Визуалните измерения на танца“. Темата на броя ни подканя да мислим какво става видимо на сцената, как движението на тялото взаимодейства с цялата сценична среда, като във фокус са онези подходи, в които танцът предизвика процеса на гледане, а сценографията дава тласък на хореографията
В броя можете да четете за премиерата в Берлин на забранения в Русия балет „Нуреев“ с автор и режисьор Кирил Серебренников и хореограф Юрий Посохов, за това как примата Алесандра Фери иска да превърне Виенския балет в един от най-добрите в света, а също как регионалната мрежа 'Moving Balkans' извежда съвременния танц от Балканите, в това число и България, на международната сцена. Разговаряме с новата директорка на Националното училище за танцово изкуство Галина Сребрева, представяме рецензии за новите танцови премиери и наградени продукции у нас.
Не пропускаме и темата как Космосът вдъхновява танцовите артисти и как те могат да бъдат полезни на астронавтите за бъдещи космически мисии.
По страниците на броя честитим и 60-ата годишнина на Галина Борисова – една от най-непримиримите и оригинални фигури на българската танцова сцена, с която екипът на списанието е особено свързан.
#️⃣2️⃣ 𓆰 И така съвсем логично, веднага след премиерата на Списанието започва “A NEVER ENDING STORY” - реконструкция и изложба с архивни материали на емблематичната работа на Галина Борисова от 1997 г. “A NEVER ENDING STORY” с оригинално заглавие „Каква глупачка е тази с кукувичето перо” има своя, почти безкрайна, история, отредила му запазено място в културната памет на съвременния танц и пърформанс в България и Европа.
Премиерата му се състои във Военния клуб в София през 1997 г., като на сцената тогава се качват изпълнителите Галина Борисова, Иво Димчев, Цвета Касабова и Юлияна Сайска. Представлението е посветено на руските емигранти-белогвардейци след Първата световна война и в драматургичната му структура са вплетени провокациите от вестник „Сатирикон”, който излиза между 1905 г. и 1918 г.

Възстановката е с участието на Нели Георгиева, Силвия Чернева и Дaниел Кърнс, а идеята и хореографията на Галина Борисова.
„Заповядайте да чуете стари хитове, даже и погребален марш, да чуете „Рамона” на стържещ стар грамофон, да видите панически взаимоотношения и несъвместими дуети“ - споделя хореографката.
Публиката ще се запознае с оригиналната версия на “A NEVER ENDING STORY” чрез изложба на архивни материали, пренасящи паметта за създаването и развитието на представлението. Оригиналният снимков материал е на Светлана Христова. Чрез тази реконструкция и съпътстващата изложба "Антистатик“ поставя на фокус значението на танцовата памет и необходимостта от нейното активиране в съвременния контекст.
„Списание за танц“ e инициирано от фестивалa „Антистатик” в рамките на европейския проект Life Long Burning - Futures Lost and Found (LLB3), финансиран от Програма „Творческа Европа“ на ЕС. Реализира се от „Брейн Стор Проджект“ и „Номад Денс“ с финансовата подкрепа на Национален фонд „Култура“, програма „Целева подкрепа „Творческа Европа“.
“A NEVER ENDING STORY” е част от изследователския проект “DanceMap”, финансиран от програма “Хоризонт Европа” на Европейския съюз.

#️⃣1️⃣ 𓆰 For the eighth consecutive year, we celebrate a new issue of the Dance Magazine, and this time it turns its gaze toward the "Visual Aspects of Dance". The theme of the issue tempt us to think about what becomes visible on stage, how the movement of the body interacts with the entire staging environment — with a focus on those approaches in which dance challenges the act of watching, and scenography gives impulse to choreography.
In this issue you can read about the Berlin premiere of the ballet "Nureyev" — banned in Russia — authored and directed by Kirill Serebrennikov and choreographed by Yury Posokhov; about how prima ballerina Alessandra Ferri aims to transform the Vienna Ballet into one of the best in the world; and also how the regional network 'Moving Balkans' brings contemporary dance from the Balkans — including Bulgaria — onto the international stage. We speak with the new director of the National School of Dance Arts, Galina Srebreva, present reviews of the latest dance premieres and award-winning productions in Bulgaria.
We also touch on the topic of how Space inspires dance artists and how they, in turn, can be of use to astronauts on future space missions.
Throughout the pages of this issue, we also celebrate the 60th anniversary of Galina Borissova — one of the most uncompromising and original figures on the Bulgarian dance scene, with whom the magazine's team shares a particularly close bond.
#️⃣2️⃣ 𓆰 Thus, immediately after the Dance magazine premiere, "A NEVER ENDING STORY" begins — a reconstruction and exhibition of archival materials of Galina Borissova's emblematic work from 1997. "A NEVER ENDING STORY", originally titled "What a Fool She Is with That Cuckoo Feather", by choreographer Galina Borissova has its own, almost endless, history, securing it a permanent place in the cultural memory of contemporary dance and performance in Bulgaria and Europe.
Its premiere took place at the Military Club in Sofia in 1997, with performers Galina Borissova, Ivo Dimchev, Tsveta Kasabova, and Yuliana Saiska taking the stage. The performance is dedicated to the Russian White Guard émigrés following the First World War, and its dramaturgical structure is woven with provocations from the newspaper "Satirikon", which was published between 1905 and 1918.
The reconstruction features Neli Georgieva, Silvia Cherneva, and Daniel Kearns, with the concept and choreography by Galina Borisova.
"Come and listen to old hits, even a funeral march, hear 'Ramona' on a scratchy old gramophone, witness panicked relationships and incompatible duets” – shares the choreographer.
The audience will get acquainted with the original version of “A NEVER ENDING STORY” through an exhibition of archival materials, carrying the memory of the creation and development of the performance. The original photographic material is by Svetlana Hristova. Through this reconstruction and the accompanying exhibition, “Antistatic” brings into focus the significance of dance memory and the necessity of activating it in a contemporary context.
"Dance Magazine" was initiated by the "Antistatic" Festival within the framework of the European project “Life Long Burning - Futures Lost and Found (LLB3)”, funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the EU. It is realized by "Brain Store Project" and "Nomad Dance" with the financial support of the National Culture Fund, under the "Targeted Support “Creative Europe" programme.
